I finally had a chance to get up to Perisher to check out the man made snow on Front Valley this morning. It was a damn cold morning in Jindy so I figured I might get to see them in action and I did indeed.
The car thermometer said -5c when I arrived in Perisher. They were pumping out a hell of a lot.

They have really made a hell of a lot of snow up there. Which is probably a good thing because it's looking to be fairly warm and wet this week. I hope these piles can ride it out.

Love your work :) THanks for the update... surely they can devise some sort of tarp to go over the top if it rains!?
ReplyDeleteNow its all melting away :-( and it looks like the system on the 9th is going to fizz. No snow for opening weekend :-(! That sucks!
